1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

When you send a request for a proposal, we receive the details you fill in: your full name, your company or organisation, your business e-mail address, your phone number, the type of event, the number of participants, the approximate dates, the destination, and anything you write in the message field.

Together with the form we receive a small amount of technical data: the page you arrived from, the campaign parameters in the link you clicked (UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers), and the date and time of the submission. We use this to understand which channel the request came from.

We do not ask for special categories of personal data, and there is no need to include any in the message field.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use your details for one purpose: to read your request, prepare a proposal for your event and correspond with you about it.

The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@adria-congress.com. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

We do not use your details for a newsletter or any other marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell or rent them to anybody.

4. Who else sees it

To run the form and the correspondence we use a small number of service providers, who process the data on our instructions and only for the purposes above:

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard permitted by the GDPR.

Beyond these, we share your details only where we are legally required to.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your request for as long as it is open, and afterwards for as long as we may reasonably need it in connection with your enquiry, up to a maximum of 24 months from the last contact. If a contract follows, the data connected to that contract is kept for the periods required by the applicable accounting and tax rules.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict how we use it, to object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you have the right to complain to the Croatian supervisory authority, the Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, AZOP), azop.hr.

7. Cookies and measurement

This page sets no advertising cookies of its own. It keeps the campaign parameters from the link you clicked in your browser's session storage for the duration of your visit, so that the request can be attributed to the channel it came from. If measurement tools are added to this page later, this policy will be updated and, where the law requires it, your consent will be asked for separately.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle the data collected through this form, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
